Directions

The German Röntgen Museum is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque old town of Remscheid-Lennep, right opposite the Catholic church. Our new glass-design entrance area and foyer directly adjoins the distinctive, old, Oelbermann Villa building – a structure that can hardly be overlooked. It is very simple to reach us with public transport. The best possibility from Lennep Station is with the 655 bus line in the direction of H2O and from the main stations in Wuppertal and Solingen, we would recommend traveling in the regional train (Regionalbahn) Wuppertal-Solingen in the direction of Remscheid-Lennep. Anyone arriving by plane can take the S11 train to Düsseldorf Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) and then change into the S1 train to Solingen Main Station. If you are travelling by car, please bear in mind that the route is well signposted and if you are using a satnav system, it is best to enter “Hardtstrasse” – as there are adequate Museum-dedicated parking spaces available here.
